The option to fully Owner build is ideally suited to people who have a reasonable level of practical skill or who know trades who can assist so that the Owner maximizes the financial savings available. In other words it keeps the Builder’s margin in your pocket.

If you want a great product, but feel you can project manage then the Owner-Manager role would suit you. You still save a great deal of money which you can invest in other areas of your home.

Walls are numbered and have a plan to guide you when fixing them to the foundation Even if you have no building skills there are three ways you can become an Owner of Your Own Home:

• Owner Builder – hands on for all the things you are legally able to do, such as framing, cladding, carpentry work, plastering and painting
• Owner Manager who organizes each trade to complete their section of the work ( You are not alone here either as we are able to advise on rates, times and schedules )
• Registered Builder. You can source your own Registered Builder or use our Preferred Builder in your area. If you don’t have the time or the skills to be actively involved in the construction process this will be your best option. This way you purchase the kit in stages and finalise the key in the door with your own builder.
